LAUNCHED: Polarn O. Pyret

It’s already December and Stockholm is covered with snow. For most people this is something that disturbs the ordinary routine, the metro is late and you have to wear unrepresentable clothes to keep warm. But for some dudes this is the season of indescribable joy, the time of the year when everything changes, the world that usually is suited for adults turns into a great white playground.
I was very happy to shoot this commercial for Swedish kids brand Polarn O. Pyret and to be able to work with the director and still photographer Karolina Henke (Skarp). I have never seen anyone being as professional with kids as her, she totally knew how to make the kids love her, respect her, and still have a fun time in the studio.

And folks. Don’t forget what christmas actually is all about. As Dickens once described Christmas as

“a good time: a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of other people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.”

But that’s if you ask Dickens… If you ask me I would prefer to erase Christmas from the calender and go straight to January.
But I like snow!
