L’Oréal Shoot

Last week I finally got the chance to work with the absolutely incredible lens Canon 30-300mm T2.95-3.7 L SP Zoom lens. I’ve been waiting for the right time and suddenly it happened – I got a job where I actually could give a good motive for using this particular lens. It was a shoot for L’Oréal together with Emanuel Danneman and Opacity Stockholm. The range and sharpness are impressive, it’s actually possible to work with it as I’m used to work with video lenses. Of course it’s heavy as fuck and almost worth its weight in gold, the price tag goes around 45.000 USD.

I also got a chance to try the new Kino Celeb, the new LED version of the Kino Flo. During a short break I compared them two together, lightning both a white wall and a human face, one on each side, and I have to say that Kino really have made improvement in the LED-sector. It looked soft and neat and I couldn’t see any of the subtle green spike that usually goes with a LED light.

The shoot lasted for two days and went smooth and nice. Everything was shot with a Sony F3.
